We have to concentrate on the people that matters most to us making them feel on how special they are to us. Instead of pressuring ourselves about the perfect Valentine's gift, think about all the fun and loving things that our love ones does for us. Think about what small little things could we do every day that would make them feel more loved? Show our love and respect for them by honoring our time together and our commitments. By giving them a warm hug and telling them how much they're valued is the very best gift that we can give that will mean the world to them.

I agree that Valentine's day is not just for lovers. On my perception Valentine's day is similar to love day where we express our love to everyone dear to us. This started with cupid, the Greek God or Roman God for lovers.
This was soon adopted into Valentine's day or Cupid's day or the lover's date day. But we must not constrained this day for the lovers only, showing love to persons important in our life is already a form of love. Telling them how much you love them and not all about preparing the best valentine gift. And now that is a valentine.
Valentines day is day to celebrate love but it does not mean that this day is only for those who are in loved. this is what the artcle is trying to say, and i definitely agree with this.

Some people were misunderstanding the essence of Valentines. I wondered why they believed that valentines are for couples only. Others felt sad because they don’t have a date. They feel regret for the day without receiving any gift from someone. There are people on the other hand, who don’t really care for this day. They see valentines as ordinary day.
I believed that valentines is for everybody, this is the day to show how much you care for the people you love, although you can show your care and your love even in ordinary day. But the fact it’s valentines, Lets do that way? It’s a holiday we should at least celebrate it extra energy than ordinary day. In is once a year so it’s better to enjoy and gain memories on it. Whether you’re single or not, you’re in.
Wow, they say a writer writes about love very well, when he himself is experiencing it. Well, I must say this girl, Renddy is experiencing love. Well, that is right Valentines Day is not a very special day for lovers alone. Valentines was marked as a red letter day in the calendar so that there would be at least one day out of the 365’s that will be a very romantic and loving day for persons who have very special people in their lives. Like me, during the Valentines fever, I really expressed my love for all those people who are always there to guide me and to teach me whenever I commit mistakes. But of course, I did not also forget that I have this person who is really important and very special to me so I also showed my special love for me.
