PHILOSOPHY, EDUCATION and LITERATURE


The first topics discussed in our colloquium were Phisolophy, education, and literature.

Mr. Jay Pajarillo talks about Philosophy in the field of extentialism. He shared how important to live our life with purpose, living a life with direction and meaning. For his talk, he mentioned that the moment we were born, we already have our essence and existence. God created us but it doesn’t mean that we are free to do everything we want to. Our purpose in this world is living a life that is in accordance in God’s will.

The invited speaker Mrs. Luna in education talks about the importance of education and being a mother and an educator. She shares her challenges that she has encounter being a mother and an educator as well.

Mr. Jay Pajarillo, Faculty from the Social Sciences Department of the College of Arts and Sciences, Mr. Lawrence Bansil, a student from the College of Nursing and Mrs. Luna, a former Faculty member of the Christian Formation Center of this university were the speakers for the second colloquium.
